The "Radio Bug" bit Steve back in 1976. Since then, he has been a reporter, copywriter, news anchor, and disc jockey for a number of Ohio Valley radio stations, and has played everything from Country to Rock-N-Roll to Oldies, and now back to Country. Steve joined the staff of WOVK in February 2001.
By day, Steve is a mild-mannered Regional Manager for Kurtz Monument Company in Wheeling... A self-proclaimed "golf nut", Steve also operates his own mobile DJ service...
A life-long resident of the Ohio Valley, Steve and his wife Becky (who has put up with his slightly off-beat sense of humor for over twenty years) reside in Glen Dale, WV with their two daughters, Jeannette and Emily.
