A student carrying a folding shovel led to an Idaho school being locked down for two hours Thursday.

KTVB reports the student was asked to grab the military style shovel from his teacher's car, so the instructor could use it for a lesson about World War II. Someone apparently mistook the shovel for a weapon, and administrators called the cops to report a teen was wandering the halls with an axe.

Officers arrived immediately, but after sweeping the school and analyzing security footage, they determined there was no danger, and re-opened the school. No charges were filed.
