A mischievous and hungry otter made a meal out of a British couple's pricy pond carp while the couple was away on vacation. According to the U.K. Mirror, the mammal used the homeowners' pond like an all-you-can-eat buffet, scarfing down fish that weighed as much as 25 pounds, and cost the residents tens of thousands of dollars and 15 years to collect.

The pair were only left with small fish in the pond, which the heartbroken homeowners have decided to remove. "We are not giving the otter another chance to kill or mutilate any more fish," 60-year-old Linda Brown told the paper.
