In a surprise twist to an already bizarre story, a Swedish cleaning woman who was accused of stealing and then crashing an empty train into an apartment building last week was declared innocent. Authorities in Stockholm now say, "several unfortunate circumstances," somehow, "allowed the woman to set the train in motion" while she was cleaning it," according to the news site The Local.

Red-faced, Tomas Hedenius, an administrator for the train's operating company apologized, saying of the woman, who was hurt in the crash, "It's unfortunate that she was depicted as a thief, and I'm truly sad about that."
