When police officers recovered a stolen vehicle in Youngstown, Ohio, on Monday they were surprised by what they found in the backseat. No, it wasn't drugs or a weapon. The website Vindy.com reports it was a 250-pound pot-belly pig named “Penelope.”

Police received a call to check out the abandoned vehicle at about 1:30 p.m. When they arrived at the scene they found a heavily damaged 2011 Nissan Cube parked by the roadway with both air bags deployed.  Officers had the car towed with the pig inside, and they notified the local animal control.

The Pennsylvania owner of the car and the pig was contacted and she said she did notice the vehicle missing, but thought her "kids took it."
