A ukelele caused a real headache for a convenience store clerk in Seattle, Washington, on Tuesday evening, when a couple used one to rob the store.

According to MyNorthwest.com, the unidentified suspects, a man and a woman, both said to be a white and in their early 20s, reportedly entered the store after 9 p.m. and tried to walk out of the establishment with a six-pack of Olde English beer. When the clerk confronted them and threatened to call 911, the male suspect reportedly bashed the employee over the head with the uke and fled.

The impact caused a bloody cut on the man's scalp that required treatment at a local hospital. The suspects are still at large.
