A woman from Boca Raton, Florida, was nearly prevented from voting Tuesday when an election worker thought her MIT t-shirt was endorsing Gov. Mitt Romney.

According to the website BocaNewsNow, an election supervisor eventually realized the voter's shirt was touting the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and not the Republican contender for president, and the would-be voter was allowed to enter and cast her ballot.

Electioneering -- or rocking campaign apparel or posters and the like at polling places -- is forbidden by law.
