A prosecuting attorney was cited for pot possession in a New Orleans courtroom Monday afternoon, after he allegedly dropped a joint from his pocket that rolled right to the feet of police officers.

The Times-Picayune reports Jason Cantrell wasn't on duty at the time of the mishap, but he was suspended without pay pending the investigation. He was issued a summons for simple possession of marijuana.

The paper reports officers on hand laughed at the situation as Cantrell was cuffed and led out of court.
