More than half of smartphone users say they won't be able to part with their device while watching the Super Bowl this Sunday. Fifty-seven percent of respondents in a poll conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of the Interactive Advertising Bureau say their smartphone will be on hand throughout. Forty-three percent however say their focus will be 100-percent on the game. Of those who plan to stay attached to their phone, 36 percent will be texting, emailing or instant messaging with friends about the happenings of the event. Twenty-one percent say they'll be using their phone to post updates on social media, and 20 percent say they need it to check up on non-football-related news and information.
